A native of Jacksonville, Florida, John Hendrix has developed a wealth of experience in business and real estate. John acquired significant experience in people relations and support through 31 years in the world of computer systems development, acquisition, installation, management and maintenance.  John is currently performing as a Residential Realtor with 11 years experience to date.

Upon retirement in Hawaii in 1994, John returned to the Fredericksburg, Virginia area to begin a new career in residential Real Estate; John previously lived in the Fredericksburg area from 1969 to 1984 and considered it home.  After a short stint of working commercial and industrial properties in Northern Virginia, John became affiliated with Coldwell Banker Carriage House Realty, Inc. in 1997.  Since arriving at Carriage House Realty, John has applied his beliefs in formative education and to continuous training and re-training in the arts and sciences of Real Estate.  Through this pursuit, John graduated from the Real Estate Institute earning his GRI certificate, and through similar educational training has become an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Senior’s Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and certified as an e-PRO Realtor employing expertise in cyber-Realty via the world-wide web (Internet).

Performance.  Since 1999, John has been a consistent performer as a Top Producer, and has earned membership in the Coldwell Banker Sterling and Diamond Societies for excellence in residential sales performance.  John has also actively served in volunteer positions with the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) as a member of the Information Management Advocacy Group (IMAG) and Chairman of the Membership Advocacy Group (MAG).  While serving on the IMAG (2000 to 2003), John assisted the formulation and creation of the VAR website (http://www.varealtor.com).
